Narwhal 03:58
Here I go chasing after rainbows Through ice flows or wherever the wind blows Water's cold but I'm in it for the long haul Raise my horn like all the other narwhals There's so many things to see in this watery world I hope I have the time to do it all Hold my breath and dive down to the trenches Pay respects to the Orca Princess Oceans of deepest blue and vast seas of green Long submerged mountain ranges set the scene Sometimes I close my eyes and soak in the silence It's good to get away from chaos and violence And think about what it means To be a good narwhal in these troubled times Off I go wherever the waves take me Roll around and let the ocean shake me I sure am grateful for another great day I wouldn't have it any other way

I was a fool I'll admit it my friends Now I'm on tour and I'm making amends I was the village idiot Now I've come to flip the script And so it should come as no mystery I want to be on the right side of history I did things wrong now I'm making it right Next stop is Wichita on Saturday night I'm driving round in my old van Doing everything I can To say sorry for all the dumb things I did when I didn't know better I'm on a mission until the end Gonna get my redemption And be someone that I'd be proud to Consider a friend and contemporary

What a day let's getaway to the vast Milky Way And we'll visit every star in the sky Look that way out the bay you'll see Sagittarius A* It's that black hole that looks like an eye Castor and Pollux are near Sirius is beautiful this time of the year So come on let's rally the troops Betelgeuse is offering discounts for groups And let's stay for a day on a moon far away Circling a planet with no name Turn your face out towards space soak in interstellar rays And we'll leave a different way than we came So many places to go New worlds around us above and below Watching the galaxy flow Feeling the breeze as the cosmic winds blow It's been great but now it's late and we've filled up our plates Now it's time to turn around and head home I was amazed now we've blazed our way back across space There's still so many places to roam

Sometimes I wish it was yesterday Tomorrow's forecast is cold and gray Could use an invention to save the day Something to siphon the crud away Something that's pure maybe made out of silver And cured in the fires of the Earth To help see things different, from a better vantage point And stop the rain from falling on me Sometimes I wish that I was elsewhere Another planet with cleaner air And different people that I could bear Instead of these psychos lurking everywhere As long as I'm dreaming, I'd also like to fly And have the power to talk to dogs At least give me something, my magic silver siphons To stop the sleet from freezing my bones

Lights flaring green and I'll spread out my wings And it's time to start soaring through the skies I look below at the white arctic snow As I fly over oceans of pure ice Wings of aurora spreading all around the poles And I don't even feel the cold winds blow The time without the sun just seems to pass so slow And it's my job to set the sky aglow Long endless nights, but I'll set them alight As I glide on my wings of purest green Look up above and I'll shower you with love As you breathe in the air so crisp and clean I'll always try my best to light the sky for you And no one ever asks if I feel blue It's an exhausting task but I will see it through There's nothing else that I'd know how to do I'll spread my wings of aurora I'll spread my wings far and wide

On the bottom of the ocean there once lay a sunken monolith Undisturbed for vast millennia til one day its stone eye opened Somewhere across the great divide of expanding spacetime There was a corresponding stirring from its companion Off in the stars And then came the great awakening all of the worlds rose to consciousness And fulfilled their various purposes living on in galactic harmony Within the ever changing tides and flow of the cosmos One tiny planet fell out of sync, got lost in the darkness And grew cold Oh poor Earth where did you ever go? Cut off from the rest of everything this world became sad and ignorant And its lifeforms just fought endlessly over nothing of any importance Someday perhaps they'll hear the call from the furthest reaches Of spacetime inviting them to come back into the fold But heaven knows

All these days just blur together As they race their way along Always wrong about the weather So I'm getting drenched here I just wasn't prepared To be caught out in the storm When you'd think that I'd know better And dress up in something warm Or at least put on a sweater All the leaves are blowing round me Caught up in a whirlwind Not so different from the people I see running around Stranding themselves aground And after all these years You would think that we'd know better We're children of the Earth But we so often forget her And I lie down in the trenches Staring at the stars above Wondering if it's all the same Out there where nothing's been touched In the cosmic nonesuch But if I had to guess It probably isn't any better Stuck on another world The rain gets you even wetter

Grim Trigger 04:16
Cooperation is the answer If we could only trust each other Don't you cross me Don't you cross me I won't forget I won't forget I've got a long unblemished memory And I remember who my friends are Don't you cross me... There's only one way out for everyone And that's to look out for each other Don't you cross me... If you should ever try to flip on me I'll be forced to pull this grim trigger Don't you cross me... And then we'll all end up in ruins But at least I'll know that you won't win

Zzyzx Road 03:52
I don't know but I've been told You'd better take a trip on down to Zzyzx Road Where you'll take a rest Get yourself refreshed Zzyzx Road is the place to be Come on and take a dip in the mineral springs And relax all night Get your head on right Out in the desert where the sun always shines It's sure to put you in a better state of mind And soon you'll see You'll be worry free Come on in get yourself on track If you're not satisfied you'll get your money back That's a guarantee So put your mind at ease Zzyzx Road will be your second home And you won't want to go Anywhere else at all And you'll see Zzyzx Road is everything they say And there's no other place As nice to get away Let's go!

Good morning frost giants it's time to shake all your sleepiness away It's fifty-five below and we might not even see the sun today Looks like a perfect icy cold morning Blizzards coming down without any warning Avalanches off in the distant mountains Look just like a pure white flowing fountain I know your bed feels good but now it's time to get up and seize the day So walk out of your cave and headed towards glaciers that stretch across the bay Snow is swirling around everywhere Maybe you'll befriend some local polar bears Later on make your way to the human village They've built a new castle and it's waiting to be pillaged It's been a long full day and now it's time to head home and go to bed I look forward to waking you but now it's time to just rest your weary heads.

No city lights and the sky's dark tonight Feeling the pull of a trillion worlds Nowhere at all in particular to go Seeing whatever the fates will unfurl And we'll travel onward and it's forward ho! It's a long ways out there, it's a long way home Our destination is still an unknown Just chasing after all the falling stars Where we end up is a matter of chance Might be Antarctica, might be on Mars And we'll travel onward... Keeping an eye out for bright streaks of light Pointing the way to the next place to go And in the end it'll turn out all right I don't know how, but I know that it's so And we'll travel onward...
